DSMA accueille Gracielle Sills cette semaine dans son \u00e9quipe d\u2019associ\u00e9s du Qu\u00e9bec ! Avec plus de 15 ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience dans l\u2019industrie automobile, nous nous r\u00e9jouissons de la richesse des connaissances qu\u2019elle nous apportera. Elle travaillera aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Fran\u00e7ois McDonald pour aider les concessionnaires du Qu\u00e9bec en r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 leurs besoins en mati\u00e8re d\u2019achat et de vente. Le duo couvrira l\u2019ensemble des transactions, de l\u2019\u00e9valuation \u00e0 l\u2019acquisition, en accompagnant leurs clients \u00e0 chaque \u00e9tape du processus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nous avons pris le temps de nous asseoir avec elle afin d\u2019en apprendre un peu plus sur la nouvelle associ\u00e9e de Fran\u00e7ois.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"IntroducingParlez-nous un peu de vous. Qu\u2019est-ce qui vous a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler dans ce secteur ?
\n<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

On peut dire que j\u2019ai grandi dans le monde de l\u2019automobile. Mon p\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 propri\u00e9taire de concessions pendant plus de 40 ans, le langage automobile ne m\u2019\u00e9tait donc pas \u00e9tranger en grandissant. En revanche, mon choix de carri\u00e8re n\u2019\u00e9tait pas coul\u00e9 dans le b\u00e9ton. J\u2019ai d\u2019abord commenc\u00e9 par travailler dans une banque tandis que j\u2019\u00e9tudiais dans le secteur de la mode. Mon emploi du temps \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s charg\u00e9 : \u00e9tudes, participation \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture de magasins pour le groupe Aldo et Dynamite, et plusieurs heures pass\u00e9es \u00e0 travailler \u00e0 BMO.<\/p>\n

J\u2019ai fini par d\u00e9velopper une passion croissante, ax\u00e9e sur les besoins financiers et op\u00e9rationnels des concessionnaires, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de location ou d\u2019acquisition d\u2019immeubles, d\u2019inventaire, de fonds de commerce, etc. Au bout d\u2019un certain temps, tout ce qui n\u2019\u00e9tait pas li\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019automobile ne m\u2019int\u00e9ressait plus. En l\u2019espace de 18 ans, j\u2019ai fini par occuper tous les postes \u00e0 la banque li\u00e9s au secteur de l\u2019automobile.
\nJ\u2019ai donc fini par suivre les traces de mon p\u00e8re, certes, mais \u00e0 ma mani\u00e8re. On peut dire que tous les chemins m\u2019ont men\u00e9 au monde de l\u2019automobile.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Que pensez-vous de l\u2019industrie automobile actuelle ?<\/h3>\n

\u00c7a bouge beaucoup ! L\u2019industrie est actuellement en pleine mutation et, pour r\u00e9ussir, je pense qu\u2019il faut garder l\u2019esprit ouvert. Nous entrons dans une \u00e8re int\u00e9ressante d\u2019\u00e9volution rapide, marqu\u00e9e par des avanc\u00e9es technologiques, une course au v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique, et des tonnes d\u2019innovations. Toutefois, ces avanc\u00e9es s\u2019accompagnent \u00e9galement d\u2019une hausse des taux d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat et d\u2019une grande incertitude. Allons-nous changer de mod\u00e8le d\u2019entreprise ? Les inventaires d\u2019envergure r\u00e9sisteront-ils \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve du temps ? Avec les nouvelles lois sur l\u2019environnement, beaucoup de choses peuvent changer.
\nJ\u2019ai moi-m\u00eame constat\u00e9 que de nombreux concessionnaires expriment leur curiosit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard d\u2019un mod\u00e8le de salle d\u2019exposition plus europ\u00e9en, r\u00e9duisant \u00e0 la fois les co\u00fbts des stocks et de l\u2019immobilier. Bien que les mod\u00e8les d\u2019agence concernent actuellement les marques de luxe, je pourrais voir les marques g\u00e9n\u00e9riques suivre avec le temps.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Pourquoi les femmes devraient-elles \u00eatre plus nombreuses \u00e0 vous rejoindre dans ce secteur ?<\/h3>\n

Parce que nous sommes encore tr\u00e8s peu nombreuses ! En effet, j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 la seule femme dans mon domaine pendant tr\u00e8s longtemps \u00e0 la banque. Pourtant, je connais d\u2019excellentes femmes leaders dans le secteur qui m\u2019ont fait prendre conscience de l\u2019\u00e9quilibre et de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 que nous apportons au monde des affaires et de son manque de repr\u00e9sentation\u2026 Mesdames, nous pourrions vraiment augmenter notre pr\u00e9sence dans l\u2019industrie. Et \u00e0 toutes les jeunes femmes qui lisent ceci : il n\u2019est pas n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019\u00eatre passionn\u00e9e des voitures, l\u2019industrie est tellement int\u00e9ressante et vari\u00e9e en soi !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Selon vous, qu\u2019est-ce qui fait du Qu\u00e9bec un endroit unique pour mettre en valeur et faciliter les ventes de concessions ?<\/h3>\n

Cette province est vraiment unique, car nous avons une culture de consommation qui rend le march\u00e9 incroyablement actif et tr\u00e8s rentable. Les concessionnaires s\u2019en sortent bien parce que les gens d\u2019ici veulent toujours ce qu\u2019il y a de mieux\u2026 et nouveau. Nous sommes constamment influenc\u00e9s par les derni\u00e8res tendances, ce qui fait que l\u2019acheteur et le vendeur sont tous deux gagnants en bout de ligne. Je peux dire par exp\u00e9rience qu\u2019il y a ici de la place pour le succ\u00e8s de tous.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Enfin, (assez parl\u00e9 de voitures !) quelle est l\u2019activit\u00e9 qui vous passionne ?<\/h3>\n

Ma passion est li\u00e9e \u00e0 une chose que tous hommes et femmes d\u2019affaires devraient faire au moins une fois dans leur vie : aller \u00e0 l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie Disney. En effet, ayant moi-m\u00eame visit\u00e9 les parcs plusieurs fois, j\u2019ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de m\u2019inscrire aux cours de leur institution pour apporter une touche de magie dans un monde bancaire parfois tr\u00e8s froid. Cela m\u2019a permis de me diff\u00e9rencier dans ce secteur : gr\u00e2ce aux cours sur le leadership, le service \u00e0 la client\u00e8le et l\u2019engagement des employ\u00e9s, j\u2019ai trouv\u00e9 une nouvelle fa\u00e7on d\u2019aborder mon travail.
\nCe que j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert en apprenant \u00e0 conna\u00eetre leur image de marque et en suivant leur formation, outre les aspects positifs qu\u2019ils ont apport\u00e9s \u00e0 mon travail dans l\u2019automobile, c\u2019est que j\u2019aime beaucoup organiser des voyages pour les gens. Ainsi, en organisant des itin\u00e9raires pour toute ma famille et mes amis, j\u2019ai fini par me d\u00e9couvrir un emploi secondaire ! Habitu\u00e9e \u00e0 un emploi du temps charg\u00e9, j\u2019ai r\u00e9cemment commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler comme agent de voyage pour les r\u00e9servations de Disney et Universal les soirs et fins de semaines\u2026 et j\u2019adore \u00e7a !<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
