DSMA is pleased to announce the successful sale of Acura and Volvo of Athens in Georgia. The dealerships were purchased by Chip O’Steen of O’Steen Automotive Group from John Smith of Smith Automotive Group.
This transaction was completed under a Buyer’s Agreement, with DSMA, through Bill Fields, representing Chip in the identification and acquisition of the dealership. From sourcing the opportunity to negotiating terms and securing OEM approval, DSMA provided comprehensive support throughout the process.
Reflecting on his experience, Chip O’Steen shared:

This was a two-franchise deal, so we used DSMA’s Application Assistance Program with one of the OEMs, which not only freed up considerable time and workload for my internal staff but helped secure OEM approval faster and smoother.
