DSMA is honoured to announce the successful sale of Moncton Honda, a dealership deeply rooted in its community and rich in family legacy. The transaction was led by Darren Hoyles, M&A Associate at DSMA, leading the firm’s operations across Canada’s Atlantic region.
The dealership has been acquired by Century Automotive Group, owned by Michael and David McGillivray, marking the group’s fourth acquisition in the past four years. Known for their thoughtful and ambitious approach to growth, Century Automotive is well positioned to build upon the strong foundation established by the Brushett family.
Originally acquired in 1996, Moncton Honda was built by John Brushett into the number one Honda dealership in Atlantic Canada, a testament to decades of dedication, leadership, and respect within the industry. His daughter, Andrea Brushett, has been part of the dealership for the past 15 years, gradually stepping into leadership and taking on the day-to-day operations several years ago. Under Andrea’s guidance, the business continued to grow and thrive. She will remain on as General Manager, ensuring continuity and stability for the team, customers, and community she knows so well.
DSMA extends its sincere congratulations to John and Andrea Brushett on an extraordinary journey and legacy, and to Michael and David McGillivray as they welcome Moncton Honda into their growing group. It was a privilege to support both parties through this meaningful transition.
